Once the dough is rolled out you smother it with a cinnamon sugar mixture then slice then into equal pieces, stack them up, and then place them horizontally in a bread pan. Once it rises again and bake you got one of the best breakfasts that has ever come out of my oven.


For the Dough:
2¾ cups all-purpose flour, plus more as needed
¼ cup granulated sugar
2¼ tsp instant yeast
½ tsp salt
4 tbsp unsalted butter
1/3 cup whole milk
¼ cup water
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 large eggs

For the Filling:
4 tbsp unsalted butter
1 cup sugar
2 tsp ground cinnamon
½ tsp freshly grated nutmeg
